The Company:

Founded in 2016, Amuse Animation is a digital-first animation studio based in Las Palmas
de Gran Canaria with offices in Paris, London, and Beijing. The company focuses on two
primary business streams: incubating original IPs created by the studio or in partnership
with toy and content creators; and third-party service work for 2D & 3D animation.
Its catalog of original productions comprises 30+ self-funded preschool properties in 25+
languages cumulating over 600 million views per month, three audio stories, and 13
gaming apps with 20+ million downloads and 680k+ monthly active users per app.

inspire young audiences worldwide. Our creative process revolves around putting the
audience at the forefront and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to produce and share our
content globally. To do so, we analyze and recombine the elements that generate intrigue,
engagement, and impact to create unique original content. By leveraging innovative
technologies and accessing the best resources globally, we establish an efficient workflow
that is cost-effective, maintains high quality, and enables the agility to quickly launch new
ideas and integrate audience feedback. Our ultimate aim is to distribute our content through
all touchpoints and connect with our audience wherever they may be.

The Role:
We are in search of an experienced and proficient Chief Content Officer to lead our content
strategy, spearhead the development and execution of captivating content across multiple
platforms, and grow our IPs into successful global franchises.
As the CCO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of content creation, ensuring
that it aligns with audience preferences and company objectives. You will supervise the
Content and Digital Production teams and work closely with the Revenue team to develop
a cohesive content strategy that drives performance, profitability, and growth opportunities.
Your ultimate goal is to enhance the visibility and engagement of our digital content across
platforms and create compelling 360 concepts, such as longer-form premium shows and
toy proposals, to expand our IPs into global franchises.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Development
● Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Amuse’s
overall vision and target audience.
● Leverage audience insights and market research to identify new content projects to
initiate within the Company, including developing new properties, improving
existing ones, or creating spin-offs.
● Oversee the entire content creation process, working closely with the content and
productions teams to develop, produce and continuously improve audience-centric qualitative content.
● Develop comprehensive 360 concepts and strategic expansion plans for our IPs; and
supervise the creation of compelling co-production pitch decks
● Oversee the Company’s yearly and quarterly content plan, by strategizing,
prioritizing, and providing guidance to ensure timely achievement of company
objectives.

Content Performance:
● Monitor and analyze the performance of existing content properties, applying
data-driven insights to optimize engagement, viewership, and revenue generation
● Improve content creation methodologies and workflows to maximize our content’s
performance, placing the audience at the center of every decision-making process
● Work closely with Distribution teams to optimize content for search engines and
maximize organic visibility
● Define content goals, key performance indicators, and metrics to measure the
effectiveness and impact of content initiatives.

Production Efficiency
● Determine the content strategy and optimize the production model for each
property project based on revenue projections.
● Design and improve production workflows to optimize costs, seamlessly integrate
content improvement feedback, and improve quality
● Enhance cross-functional collaboration and streamline content-related workflows
among Content, Production, and Distribution teams.

Team Leadership and Management:
● Collaborate with other C-level executives, actively engaging in cross-functional
discussions and seeking input and feedback to align content strategies with broader
organizational goals.
● Lead and manage a team of producers and creative executives, fostering a culture of
audience-centricity, creativity, and collaboration.
● Set clear goals and objectives for the content team, providing guidance and support
to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
● Engage in discussions with industry stakeholders and stay updated on trends,
emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation and distribution.

Requirements:
● Proven experience in a content leadership role within the entertainment industry,
ideally focused on kids’ content.
● Excellent strategic thinking and the ability to translate market insights into effective
content strategies.
● Deep knowledge of content creation, development, and production processes,
including digital and traditional media formats.
● Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and manage a creative
team.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with
cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
● Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize
tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong proficiency in English
